Checks
DAQ check
There are two LED indicators on the DAQ as shown in the image below. Here, LED 1 specifies data-related conditions and LED2 specifies motor-related conditions.
There are two color options for LED2:
If LED 2 emits red light, the connector of at least one current sensor does not have a proper connection to the DAQ. Check whether the connector is properly connected to the DAQ and the cable set, and power cycle the DAQ by disconnecting and reconnecting the network cable.
LED 2 will light green when all three current sensors are correctly connected to the DAQ but this does not indicate whether the phase order and current sensor orientation are correct.
When the DAQ is on, LED 2 will light green, LED1 can take on the following colors:
If LED 1 flashes white, the DAQ is processing and is forwarding data to the gateway.
If LED 1 flashes green, the DAQ connects to the gateway, but the gateway can't connect to the DAQ. Please check the cables with a cable tester.
LED 1 flashes blue during a boot session. If it stays in the blue state, the DAQ needs replacement.
If LED 1 flashes red, it means that the DAQ could not find the gateway. For this scenario, please check the cabling from switch to gateway first, followed by the cable between the DAQ and the switch
Notice The LEDs may remain off for a short while after a reset. If this lasts longer than 3 seconds, please contact onboarding-support@samotics.com.
