Preliminary installation validation 

After connecting the DAQ to the motor, you completed the installation tutorial. Now you can do a preliminary check to make sure everything has been connected properly.

1. Navigate to the “DAQs” page in the top bar

2 Click on the Motor and DAQ combination that needs to be validated 

3. Turn on the motor and wait at least 1 minute

4. Refresh the page and make sure the last updated column says “Just now”

5. Turn off the motor if needed

6. Verify the values

• Is the expected current visible on all three lines with the metrics called “Current RMS Channel x”?

• Is the expected voltage visible on all three lines with the metrics called “voltage RMS Channel x”?

7. If one of the values is significantly off, validate the measurement with a multimeter, check the connections, and repeat the process from step 1.
