Connect to motor
Connect voltage measurement
Now the current sensors are installed, it is time to branch the voltage sensor. The voltage per phase wire is measured through a direct, insulated pick-off branch. Two options are available. In both options, branching from the source or an (existing) feed-through terminal block is used. Both options are fused with a 2A fuse.
If the branching method described below is not possible, please contact Samotics.
Option 1: Terminal clamps on extra phase wires branched off from the VFD.
Option 2: Terminal clamps on the extension of the phase wire (both clamps connected by a wire).
5. Install three fused terminal blocks on the DIN rail
6. Measure the required wire length between the VFD and the fused terminal blocks. Cut three extra phase wires to the correct size and install ferrules on both ends.
 7. Install the extra phase wires in the VFD.
8. Open the connector of the fused terminal block using a screwdriver and install the phase wire on the fused terminal block.
9. Check on which phase the terminal block has been installed and add the corresponding phase marking on the phase wire between the VFD and the terminal block.
